Hello there!
I'm Kristin LeAnn and I'm the owner/photographer of Once Upon a Time Photography NC. I am also the mother to my sweet little chihuahua, Layla, pictured above, next to myself.
For as long as I can remember, I've always had a camera with me whenever I go somewhere. I got my first camera as a Christmas gift when I was three years old. You may remember the camera, actually. It was the blue Fisher Price one. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my grandpa who was an avid photographer. He taught me how to use a camera and showed me photos he took of his wife (my grandmother) when she was younger. It was often the highlight of my visits.
As I got older, I began buying my own cameras and experimenting more with subjects and when digital cameras came out, I started playing with effects. Anytime there was any sort of event: a wedding, a party, a holiday, I always brought my camera along with me and afterwards people would always come up to me and say I should go into photography professionally.
Although I am a self-taught photographer, I have also taken several photography classes for my certification in Web and Graphic Design.
